Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are
Brief is provided by Anna Flis, an individual seller based in Poland, contactable at annaflis083@gmail.com ("we", "us"). By using Brief you enter into an agreement with Anna Flis.
2. Acceptance
By accessing or continuing to use Brief you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 16 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
3. The service
Brief uses artificial intelligence to turn study material you provide (topics, text, documents, photos, audio) into study notes, explainers, flashcards and case briefs. Some features need an account.
4. Your account
Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and for giving accurate information.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Brief. In particular you must not:
- use it for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or to send spam;
- upload material that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights;
- create illegal content, hate speech, harassment, deepfakes of real people or malware;
- try to bypass safety filters ("jailbreaking") or usage limits;
- interfere with security, probe, scrape, reverse engineer or overload the service;
- resell or redistribute the service.
6. Your content and AI output
You keep your rights in what you upload and must have the right to use it. You give us a limited licence to host and process it only to provide the service. You are responsible for your inputs and for how you use the generated notes.
AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Notes are a study aid, not legal or other professional advice. Always check important points against your course materials and sources. Notes are meant for your own studying, not to be submitted as your own assessed work.
If you believe content on Brief infringes your rights, contact us through the details below and we will review and remove it where appropriate. Accounts that repeatedly infringe may be suspended.
We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs and suspend accounts that break these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
We own Brief, including its software, design and branding. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it within your plan.
8. Availability
We work to keep Brief running well, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without implied warranties.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access for a material breach of these Terms, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can stop using Brief at any time. When an account ends, its saved notes are deleted.
10. Liability
Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost data, profits or exam results. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes go to the competent courts in Poland, without affecting consumer rights to bring claims in your country of residence.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and will post the new version here. Questions: contact Anna Flis at annaflis083@gmail.com.
